We built the studio reference library for NAME Architecture in Paris, a single searchable home for every render, reference and photograph the studio has produced.
Every studio gathers years of images and reuses almost none of them.
The work sits in project folders, personal drives and old mood boards, so the same reference gets hunted down again on every new project.
We made the whole collection searchable in plain language, so a description brings the matching images back together.
The studio filters by project, location and style and narrows by lighting, materiality, type of space and the other qualities architects judge on.
A team starting a new project now pulls references straight from work the studio has already approved, so what reaches a client sits in the studio style from the first meeting.
We set the library up to grow on its own, so adding a project takes an upload and everything that arrives is described and placed without anyone tagging it by hand.
