Data intelligence
We analysed a shopper survey for a retail operator in Bengaluru, turning it into a picture of who their customers are and where they come from.
Most organisations survey their customers, read the results once and file them away.
The answers arrive as percentages with no sense of place, so nobody can tell which of them describe the people next door and which describe people an hour away.
We started by making the raw answers usable, setting aside duplicates and responses that could not be compared, so everything after it rested on a dependable base.
Spatial analysis gave every response a location, so the team could see how far people really travel to each of the two sites and where the two quietly overlap.
We grouped shoppers into recognisable types, brought in public information about the area and their own published figures, and turned the result into a season of decisions.
It arrived as one dashboard anyone could open, and nothing in it was assumed. Every number traces back to the survey or to a source we cited.
